This is a website for remembering Pokey... what he meant to each and everyone of us. Its about a place where kids can get away from it all... someday it will be a real place where kids can come and feel grass under their feet, play in the dirt ...just be a kid... and be with Pokey's Pals! But for now its a website.
You can still write to Pokey and he will get your letters.... I will send them to him in heaven. I am sure he misses everyone just as much as you miss him. When he gets your letters, I am sure he will be happy and he will send you a letter from heaven.
We welcome pictures and your letters ....email :Pokey's Mom, Denise at welovepokey@msn.com
For those who didn't read the stories in the newspapers or didn't hear the news .... I have included the news articles (next page) on this site. Its sad news, but its something I needed to share. All these years Pokey wasn't just MY horse... he was everybody's horse... I thought it was proper to share in his loss. *PLEASE use discretion when sharing these stories with little ones. Thanks for stopping by, Denise (Pokey's Mom)
E-Mail Pokey's Mom, Denise at welovepokey@msn.com and your letters will be sent to Pokey in heaven. Thank you.
Denise continues to support local 4-H horse organizations, St Judes Childrens Research Hospital and various other childrens events. She also still makes several public appearences each year, in memory of Pokey.
